DOGS ARE WELCOMBE
Dogs are welcome to stay with you at Rockfield House Apartments
Woolacombe and Mortehoe is very dog friendly place with coastal walks for you the dogs to enjoy.
Between Good Friday (or 1st April if it is earlier) and the end of October, dogs are not allowed between the far north end of main beach and the stream and must be on a lead between the stream and Mill Rock (the large grey outcrop of rock); and at the far south of the beach - the Putsborough end.
In the central part of the beach - between Mill Rock and Black Rock - good dogs can run free. And this is a great beach for running around!
Dogs can also be off the lead on the dunes - but put them on a lead when you approach the cows at the Putsborough end of the dunes.
There are also areas of the beaches at Westward Ho! and Saunton where dogs can run free.
MAIN BEACH
Dog Friendly all year round! Some restrictions apply during the main season
BARRICANE
Dogs are allowed but must be on leads when the cafe is in situ (usually March - September)
COMBESGATE
Dogs are not allowed on the beach from 30th April - 30th September
